Stanley Park

The park is situated south-east of Blackpool town centre, adjacent to Blackpool Victoria Hospital. It is flanked by North Park Drive, East Park Drive (A587) and South Park Drive. Follow the tourist signs off Junction 4, M55.

Blackpool Transport buses to the park are the open top ones until beginning of November.

Route 20 goes from the Pleasure Beach to the Town Centre and then to Stanley Park main gates and Marton Mere every 30 minutes.

Routes 15 and 16 are the Blackpool South Circular.

Route 15 goes from the Town Centre to the Zoo then to South Shore before returning to Stanley Park Gate and direct to the Town Centre.
Note: The Zoo is close to the park.

Route 16 goes from the Town Centre to Stanley Park Gates then to South Shore before returning to the Zoo and then the Town Centre.

Other routes that go near the park to Newton Drive and the Hospital, say 300 yards away, are the 12, 13 to Poulton, Bispham and 2c to Knott End.

A private bus company operates service 21 using heritage buses from the Promenade to Stanley Park and the Zoo.

Salisbury Woodland

Salisbury Woodland Gardens is located in south-east Blackpool, on the corner of East Park Drive (A587) and Woodside Drive. The garden’s can be accessed by pedestrians only. Visitors can park on East Park Drive or enjoy a longer walk from Stanley Park, situated opposite. Blackpool Transport Line 16 and the open-top City Sightseer buses stop opposite the gardens at Blackpool Zoo.

By Train

You may be arriving in Blackpool on the train and we get a mention on the Trans Pennine Express website where you can book tickets without booking fees.
