The Friends of Stanley Park and Salisbury Woodland are a group of enthusiastic volunteers who care about two of Blackpool’s favourite green spaces. We have a number of sub groups who get involved in gardening, wildlife conservation and events. We also raise funding through fairs and other activities for projects on the park and to enable events to be held such as Love Parks Week.
We staff the Visitor Centre which is open 5 days a week in summer and at weekends for most of the winter. We also arrange the weekly summer shows on the bandstand and staff them with volunteers.
Every month we have a committee meeting then a members meeting at which we discuss matters related to the park usually with members of the park staff present. We also have a guest speaker at the members meeting.

If you are a community spirited person who cares about their environment, and are willing to get involved and help with project planning, event organisation or fund raising. Please come and join us.
